Introduction
The Michele Peresso Group embarked on setting up a new endeavour
in June 2004. A business called Eurosave was born, a new concept
for Malta. Although it is basically a mass volume business, the
company has not limited itself to a category of products or price,
but it has opened itself to all types of goods, with the advantage
for the consumer that all there is in the outlets are priced very
advantageously.
The first Eurosave was opened in the
B’kara Bypass. This was soon followed by the next outlet in
July 2004 situated in Fgura. Today, only eight months after inception,
the chain boasts of seven shops scattered around Malta and Gozo,
with more expansion planned for the near future, one of which is
a new highly commercial outlet of over 1000 square meters of retail
space.
The Eurosaves have already established a firm foothold in the mass
volume market, and have proven themselves as one of the leaders
in this field.
The products sold from the shops are diverse, with a growing array
of product lines being introduced regularly. The range includes,
giftware, tableware, household goods, small appliances, lighting
equipment, crockery, hardware, gadgets, stationery, soft toys and
many other items.
The next stage will now include the importation of large products
such as furniture (indoor and outdoor), chandeliers and other related
products.
